Although this blog is, so far, primarily related to personal finance and achieving financial freedom, I want to get this out before any official vax for the 2019 pandemic is officially announced as ready and/or released.
I don't want to take it.
No, I don't label myself as an anti-vaxxer. People who label themselves this way seem to get a lot of negative remarks thrown their way for their desire to refuse pharmaceutical injections.
My reasons for not wanting to take it is actually quite simple.
- I never take medicine when I'm sick. I always opt for natural remedies (water, rest, fruit, soup)
- I have had both mild and severe negative allergic reactions from the most basic over the counter medicines in the past.
- I got a flu shot once, and I have never been more sick in my life, with an illness that lasted 14 days.
Plus, it's no secret that various vaxxes in the past have had negative side effects on people. Side effects which include death.
Due to the reasons I listed above, it's easy to see why I would rather opt out of getting injected with a rushed, lab-created formula, than to take it.
Let's all hope that one day, like SARS, this virus disappears as quickly and mysteriously as it came, and we all go back to normal, without mandatory pharmaceutical intervention.
